Who will read 1Timothy 2:1-2 (Portfolio of Scriptures, Told to Pray, Page 1 #7)?

READ BY A VOLUNTEER:

​Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

PRAYER PRINCIPAL:

If God answers this prayer, all of the world’s problems will be taken care of…think how glorious that would be. ​

READ BY LEADER:

​Now let each person pray for 1 country at a time until 12 African countries are prayed for. Pray by locating the ruler, the country and mentioning the politics and prayer. I will begin. “Lord, help the people of ___________ (name country) and head ruler ___________ (name ruler), that they may be saved, that they will lead quiet and peaceable lives in all Godliness and honesty.

12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.​

Jesus commands us to rejoice in persecution.
