Praises for Cleansing
This part should take approximately 20 minutes.

This section will usually be the confession of our sins, but it is important to also exercise ourselves with humility when praising God for His cleansing blood and work of redemption on the cross and in the resurrection. Let us then each praise God by reading one of these praises for cleansing and then saying a praise similar to the note beside it, remembering to only give thanks and praising for sins forgiven. Who will start?

Each person gives praise by reading one of the references below and saying a short praise. (REMEMBER NO REQUESTS)
All Together
Psalm 103:1-3 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
(Psalm 103:1-3 - Praise to You for forgiving my iniquities)
Psalm 49:15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for He shall receive me. Selah.
(Psalm 49:15 Thank You for redeeming my soul)
Psalm 42:11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted with me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
(Psalm 42:11) I praise You for healing me from sin and making me glad.
Psalm 40: 1-3 I waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
(Psalm 40:1-3 O God, thank you for pulling me out of the pit of sin)

And finally turn to Ephesians 1:3-14. I will read the passage slowly while each of us picks a phase to praise God for.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved.
In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace; Wherein He hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He hath purposed in Himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him:
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will: That we should be to the praise of His glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
